Hello, I can't get the code to work! Even using the codes that appear on this page, I cannot get the Google widgets to load on my wiki. Meebo works just fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is! :( :( :(
-Abby
tsukechick,
Not sure if you'll see this, but I had the same problem. The thing I discovered is that these google gadgets don't appear in the "Preview" mode in a Wiki. You have to first do a "Save" and then you should see the gadget work on your Wiki.
Hope this helps…

I was planning a bike trip on google map and when I tried to copy the code I found out that is wasn't working.
If someone cracked the code before, I would be very greatful, here is the adress of the page Problem with map

[[if i place it in "embed" tags - it produces: Sorry, no match for the embedded content.
If I place it in a plain file inside "body" tags- it works just fine.
You must be filtering out google spreadsheet gadgets. Let it though, please.
Thank you.
What do you mean by…"If I place it in a plain file inside "body" tags- it works just fine."? I'm stuck on the "Sorry, no match for the embedded content."
Thanks!

Hi,
I tried to insert the code for the Google News bar, but it doesn't work!
I get the message: Sorry, no match for the embedded content.
Any clue?
The code can be found here
http://www.google.com/uds/solutions/wizards/newsbar.html
Thanks
Same as me… actually … how to embed this kind of content??
I experimented and found a solution:
When you get a code from google, you something like:
Which does not work. However, if you just remove the "www." from the code, you get:
Which does work.
Hope this helps,
if you embed it on a wiki page and it doesn't show up at all, what does that mean? it usually gives some kind of error sign but i get nothing when i put this in.
I experienced the same problem as urkayla01. Even the clock example at the top doesn't even work. It appears as if the page has not been changed at all.
Ok, I think I found the solution. bobstrenger said you had to save the edit to see a gadget. I had to save the edit and then refresh my page to see the gadget. Hope this helps someone…
