Hello, I can't get the code to work! Even using the codes that appear on this page, I cannot get the Google widgets to load on my wiki. Meebo works just fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is! :( :( :(

tsukechick,
Not sure if you'll see this, but I had the same problem. The thing I discovered is that these google gadgets don't appear in the "Preview" mode in a Wiki. You have to first do a "Save" and then you should see the gadget work on your Wiki.
Hope this helps…

I was planning a bike trip on google map and when I tried to copy the code I found out that is wasn't working.
If someone cracked the code before, I would be very greatful, here is the adress of the page Problem with map
This is the code generated by Google:
<script src="http://spreadsheets.google.com/gpub?url=http%3A%2F%2F88sui90i-a.gmodules.com%2Fig%2Fifr%3Fup__table_query_url%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fspreadsheets.google.com%252Ftq%253Frange%253DG3%25253AG20%2526key%253DpC9bbqlpYXYrIUsjfiPcmYA%2526gid%253D0%2526pub%253D1%26up_title%3D%26up_labelx%3D%26up_labely%3D%26up_legend%3D4%26up_3d%3D1%26up_stacked%3D0%26up__table_query_refresh_interval%3D0%26url%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252Fig%252Fmodules%252Fcolumn-chart.xml&height=357&width=450"></script>
[[if i place it in "embed" tags - it produces: Sorry, no match for the embedded content.
If I place it in a plain file inside "body" tags- it works just fine.
You must be filtering out google spreadsheet gadgets. Let it though, please.
Thank you.
What do you mean by…"If I place it in a plain file inside "body" tags- it works just fine."? I'm stuck on the "Sorry, no match for the embedded content."
Thanks!
Hi, how can i insert a presentation of Google Docs in my wiki?
did you work out how to embed doc yet? I am also look to do this
Hi,
I tried to insert the code for the Google News bar, but it doesn't work!
I get the message: Sorry, no match for the embedded content.
Any clue?
The code can be found here
http://www.google.com/uds/solutions/wizards/newsbar.html
Thanks
Same as me… actually … how to embed this kind of content??
I experimented and found a solution:
When you get a code from google, you something like:
Which does not work. However, if you just remove the "www." from the code, you get:
Which does work.
Hope this helps,
if you embed it on a wiki page and it doesn't show up at all, what does that mean? it usually gives some kind of error sign but i get nothing when i put this in.
I experienced the same problem as urkayla01. Even the clock example at the top doesn't even work. It appears as if the page has not been changed at all.
Ok, I think I found the solution. bobstrenger said you had to save the edit to see a gadget. I had to save the edit and then refresh my page to see the gadget. Hope this helps someone…
Hi Friends,
I need your help.i want to convert html code into wiki code. i have html codes.but i can not use that code into wiki. Then i want to add site counter into my wiki site.if i generate counter from sitecounter.com,the site will provide only html code.i want to put counter to my wiki site.please anyone help me
Site counters: You need to use "embed" for a site statistic..
habe a look at our howto: http://community.wikidot.com/howto:site-statistics perhapsthis helps.
You shoud read our handbook too.
There is no automatic converter of html code into wiki code.
But what you can do is to use the html code in an "iframe" on a wiki page:
http://community.wikidot.com/howto:use-html-scripting
Service is my success. My webtips:www.blender.org, www.zusi.de (Demo-Video)
Wollen Sie Wikidot helfen im deutschen » Handbuch ?
I have embedded the code of Google Map gadget. But only box and title appear, without any map and shows "Request timed out" error!
