DAY 4 of Site-22: A Fictional Account

Name: Dr. Mike
It's day 4 of my time at Site-22, and I'm feeling much better after taking a nap. I received information that the squad assigned to retrieve SCP-096 has successfully located its whereabouts. As a level 4 personnel, I have access to this information, and it's good news to hear that progress is being made. I had a conversation with SEPTER-65, who informed me that he and his squad have reached the base. This update brings me a sense of relief and hope.
In the meantime, I decided to explore the files related to the banned project involving the mech suit or robot. Admittedly, it was challenging for me to comprehend the details, but I discovered that Overwatch had some involvement in the project. Intrigued by this connection, I took the audacious step of attempting to communicate with SCP-682. I was fully aware that it could be a suicidal idea, but my curiosity got the better of me.
During my first attempt, SCP-682 aggressively attacked me, confirming the danger I had anticipated. However, I persisted and made two more attempts. Surprisingly, on the third attempt, SCP-682 remained passive, showing no signs of aggression. I stood there, observing the enigmatic creature, trying to understand its behavior. Eventually, it simply walked away, leaving me to ponder the encounter. For now, I decided to leave SCP-682 and returned to interacting with other SCPs. Some encounters went well, while others were less successful, but I remained determined to explore and understand.
Later on, I was entrusted with some documents to review. These files pertained to SCP-682, and I eagerly accepted the task. Going through the files, I made a remarkable discovery - SCP-999 can subdue SCP-682. This finding fascinated me, prompting me to pay a visit to SCP-999.
SCP-999 proved to be a kind and gentle SCP. Its presence helped alleviate the anxiety I had been feeling, which had driven me to consume an excessive amount of coffee the previous night (14 cups, to be exact). As tempting as it was to introduce SCP-999 to SCP-682, I decided it would be best to postpone such a meeting for now.
Shortly after, I received news of SEPTER-65's team returning. Anxious to hear their report, I hurried to meet him. Upon our meeting, SEPTER-65 shared a perplexing incident that had occurred. A task force member stationed in an ice cave attempted to contact Overwatch, reporting that his entire squad had been killed by an unknown entity. Strangely, Overwatch remained unresponsive to his distress call. Frustrated and injured, the task force member threw his field radio before succumbing to his injuries.
Dr. Mike - Well, it seems that things are taking a disturbing and mysterious turn tonight.
