DAY 5 of Site-22: A Fictional Account WARNING: The following blog recounts fictional events and is not based on real or true incidents.
Name: Dr. Mike
It's day 5 at Site-22, and unfortunately, I've received some bad news. The squad that was sent to retrieve SCP-096 is currently missing in action. As a result, SEPTER-65's squad has been assigned the task of securing SCP-096 instead. It's a concerning development, but we must press on and hope for the best.
In the meantime, I decided that it was finally time to bring SCP-999 to SCP-682. With cautious anticipation, I transported SCP-999 to SCP-682's containment area. At first, there was an awkward standoff between me and SCP-682, but soon enough, SCP-999 began playing with SCP-682. It was a remarkable sight to witness.
Taking advantage of the situation, I took the opportunity to ask SCP-682 some questions. While he did provide answers to some inquiries, there were others that he chose not to respond to. One unanswered question was regarding his origins and whether there are others like him. The enigmatic nature of SCP-682 only deepens the mystery surrounding him. After spending some time with SCP-682, I returned SCP-999 to its containment and resumed interacting with other SCPs.
The interactions with the other SCPs followed a similar pattern as the previous day. Some encounters were more successful than others, but I continued my efforts to understand and communicate with them. I also took the time to engage in conversations with fellow staff members, exchanging insights and experiences.
Additionally, I revisited the files related to the banned project involving the mechanical or robotic entity. It turns out that it was just a few parts, specifically the concept for the head. There were similar projects involving different body parts as well. Given the project's forbidden status, I realized there was no need to worry about it further. Instead, I delved into the files of other SCPs, expanding my knowledge and understanding of these anomalous entities.
Dr. Mike - Well, for now, I have nothing immediate to worry about. Perhaps it's time for a quick snack at the cafeteria to recharge.
Please remember that the events described in this blog are purely fictional and do not represent real or true incidents. Stay tuned for more updates from Site-22.
